Dr. Jessica Brooks grew up in Midland, Michigan with her parents and one very adorable cat, Patches.  She graduated from Michigan State University School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2007.

She enjoys her human and animal family, including husband Beau, daughter Lana, cats Charm and Jinx, pigeons Picabo and Paisley, gerbil Spooky and bearded dragon Yoshi.

In the hospital, Jessica has a special interest in exotic animal medicine, but is enjoying all aspects of veterinary medicine after years of studying to get here. She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association and the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys time with her husband and daughter, hiking, backpacking, skiing, and playing hostess to friends from out East.
